Introduction of Wahuang Palace Scenic Spot 

Wahuang Palace Scenic Spot is located in Zhonghuang mountain of Sobao Town, Shexian County, Hebei province, 10 kilometers away from the county seat. Wahuang Palace is a place for Nu Wa to make man out of soil and smelter colorful stones to mend sky in the legend. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit, state-level scenic spot, national AAAAA level scenic spot and one of the five ancestral shrines of China. It is China's largest place to worship Nu Wa, so it is known as "Ancestral Temple of China".

Wahuang Palace is located on the site of the Neolithic period,which started about 10,000 years ago. It covers an area of 7 square kilometers, consists of five parts: entrance, Sky-Mending Garden, Sky-Mending Lake, Wahuang Palace and Sky Mending Valley. Wahuang palace has the temple that was built in the Han Dynasty, at present stone inscriptions of the Northern Qi Dynasty, inscription of Tang Dynasty, brick wall of Song Dynasty, architecture of Ming and Qing Dynasties and other ancient ruins exist, and there are forests, valleys, gardens, water and other natural landscapes, of which the inscriptions on precipices in Northern Qi Dynasty, the main building Wahuang Pavilion and Site for paying worship to Nu Wa are three key spots, and win reputation at home and abroad as "No. 1 wall classics group of the world", "flexible building and hanging temple", "national intangible cultural heritage" respectively. It is an important base for the study of ancestral roots culture.
